Why would I want to transmute?

The transmutation ritual offers statue holders the opportunity to personalize their statues to their liking with all new color-ways. Transmutation is purely generative and relies on the exploration from holders to find the perfect change.

What happens when I transmute?

Performing the ritual is a low-gas transaction that stores the spell and consumes the amount of mana specified to store the spell.

What are the new attributes "Spell Strength" + "Transmutation style"?

Spell Strength denotes the strength of the applied spell. If it is 10, it would be applied to the maximum; at 0 spell strength, no change will be visible.

Transmutation style denotes which kind of material change you should expect. There is 8 ways your statue can change. Different transmutation styles are rarer than others.

Why don't I see any changes visually on OpenSea?

Metadata on different marketplaces are cached and requires users to 'refresh' to update OpenSea's database with the latest, post-ritual metadata.

Can I transmute multiple times?

Yes! Later transmutations override the prior spell and applies the same way as any transmutations before and after. Prior mana consumed is not refunded.

Why does some spells cost more mana?

Some verses have a higher chance of altering the final output of the statue. These are priced according their potential change.

What is going on behind the scenes with each spell?

Each verse selected maps to a mathematical computation. By creating a poem, statue-holders are in-effect creating a mathematical formula that applies changes to your statue's colorways.
